Why do we recommend that you follow this guideline?
Over time, a pet will develop specific flora (bacteria) in the gut to help digest food. These floras are needed to help digest pet foods that contain ground corn, chicken heads, feet or intestines; ingredients never found in Nutro NATURAL CHOICE products.
This blending period allows the pet's digestive system to adjust to the more digestible Nutro NATURAL CHOICE without experiencing dietary upsets that can sometimes accompany a rapid change in diet.
